This was the theme of today's round 2 of eliminations.

We broke our wheelie bars on a tall stand, kapt the car in control for the win.

After taking them off, discover engine wont cool off.

Add water, suddenly our engine builder nukes a transmission and dumps 100 ft of trans fluid on the track. Run up to starting line to get his car towed back (massive hole in side of case where the planetaries came out)

After we get him cleared off, Another guy breaks.

All in less than one hour.

Sadly, no videos form today. Brought camera, left memory card at home :/

Holy Crap! A "perfect" reaction time beats an "almost perfect" run compared to dial-in time. That's some good racing right there.

Thats how it is out here. Some of these guys have been racing all their lives and can lose with packages that have 2 and 3 zeroes in them. I forget what pair it was, but I heard them call a 5 ten-thou MOV between a pair saturday night. One guy (Billy Simpson) ALWAYS will throw something between a -005 red and 015 green light on you, and run dead-on with a somethign on the end. Saturday night, we called a 10 light and a 6.15 in TT's. He goes out, 7 light, 6.149 on the board. That's how predictable he his.

He wins alot, but some guys have figured out how to whoop on him.

Another 2, Brad Young and Chad Sandlin, will do anything from dial honest to holding 30 or 40. We've watched brad start pedalling at the 330, and we've raced chad with a 6.60 on his window, then he comes back next round with a 6.30 on the window, depending on who is next to him.

Denton doesn't track results, but Kennedale does. Super Pro, Footbrake, BTE Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, and Sportsman Footbrake are the bracket Categories.

Like the track on Facebook. Nick posts a link to the live webcast at the start of every race.

Here's what Chad threw on us back in march...we threw it back at him:
