I can't stand the guy & he didn't beat my driver!Originally posted by 66mustang@Dec 9 2003, 12:09 PM
It doesn't matter what he does, people will still pick apart everything he does. If he didn't touch another car, said everything PC, people would still find stuff.
The only reason I think people have to make fun of him is because...hmm...he beat your driver.

Very good and insightful post Hawk!Originally posted by Hawk3270@Dec 10 2003, 09:34 AM
Lots of good points folks. I don't like Harvick but I didn't mean for this to turn into a full blown bash Harvick thread.
I thought the earlier post that said that different people like different personalities and the drivers tend to go one way or the other makes alot of sense. I tend to like the drivers who keep there mouth shut and race clean. There are lots of drivers who started off rubbing people the wrong way and eventually turned out ok. There are several guys I didn't like early in their careers that I think are pretty cool now. Jeff and Robby Gordon and Rusty Wallace are the ones that come to mind with me. The whiny butts probably irritate me the most.
If all the drivers and fans thought alike it would be pretty boring. Overall I do like most all of the drivers and whatever their attitude they are still the best ambassadors and more fan friendly than all the other sports.
I will end with this; you Harvick guys will go to the wall for your driver, can't fault that, you guys are very loyal
I still don't like him![]()
Has a nice ring to it Gol...but that would make Jr. our Lord Jesus Christ because the media & a lot of his fans think he can walk on water! :lol:Originally posted by Gollum@Dec 9 2003, 04:08 PM

Everything is cool. You have your right to dislike Harvick for what ever reason.Your right we will defend our driver. Just like any other fan will defend theirs. If we all started to bash or stomp drivers in the ground we dont like the board would be in a melt down in a short time. :lol:Originally posted by Hawk3270@Dec 10 2003, 02:34 PM
