a bit lighter of a topic.

A few said it in the race thread... Kevin Harvick was awesome today. I was very impressed with how articulate he was and the insight he brought. He took AA and Mike Waltrip to school today IMO.

I'm looking forward to seeing him call a race again.
 
he did a great job imo...can't wait to see how jeff does in the booth...
 
People may tune in just to hear their fav driver announce.....

Yeah. He kindof tends to stutter in interviews. I've never heard him in a PxP role. I'm looking forward to it though. We all know how much he knows about racing.

I thought he did an excellent job........ and I'm not a Harvick fan.
 
I was talking with chex earlier about the schedule of these guys. More about Gordon's but since Harvick was so good today I will definitely watch more of his races.

Anyone know the schedule for Gordon?

Harvick was outstanding. I'd rather see him on the track on Sundays. But if he decides to hang up the helmet, I'd fire both Waltrips tomorrow and put Kevin in the booth.
 
I thought he did a very good job seeing as how I have never heard him work in a race booth before … damn shame he couldn't have gagged and handcuffed Mikey and locked him in a closet …
 
Hell, he even looked the part. As if he'd been an announcer his entire career.
He was good, they need to hire him full time for Xfinity broadcasts at least.

Harvick did an okay job. But at moments, he just... sounded a bit awkward, to me anyway. By the time FOX hands the Xfinity series the NBC for the last half of the year I think he'll improve. But what he talked about and his word choice was perfect.

Didnt appreciate seeing Harvick in the booth, just more work for my fast forward finger
 
Harvick was great today. Him and Carl I think would be really good in the booth when they retire.
 
I think Kevin was great today, it was almost refreshing having him in their , I look forward to the other races that he is doing.
 
Nice to have someone who knows what they're talking about. It's usually hacks like Kenny Wallace, or Petty.
