Hendrick should field a indy car for Jimmie.

Jimmie is into cycling too, looking forward to the HMS Tour de France entry.

they could learn allot from running other series, maybe get Cole
Pearn to run the team
I can guarantee you that I would be tuned in and become his biggest fan. I would love to see some more American drivers run Indy...and you don't get anymore American then JJ. :punkrocke :D

Jimmie has mad some pretty nice coin for himself the last 20 years. I'm SURE there are some teams that would LOVE to have him take an ownership stake in exchange for a car to drive, but since Jimmie was never interested in an ownership stake in HMS, I don't see it happening. The LAST thing HMS needs to do right now is start running another series when they are even close to where they should be in NASCAR.

my point is i think it would be good to get down of the little box of nascar, penske, haas, ganassi all learn from the cars they run in other series,i build shocks for off road racing and i learn from remote control cars, supercross, even monster trucks.

if i had a nascar team i would have a car in imsa next year ,because those cars are more like the 2022 nascars

I would say it may not be feasible for Hendrick to field an Indycar, give his NASCAR history, but certainly Chevrolet could pitch in somehow to help JJ given their history with both sports and what he has meant to them over the years.

Realizing that much more so than NASCAR, IMSA is a black hole of spent money with little or no return. Also, If you are a team with a Chevrolet affiliation, GM has no presence in the GTD class and has no desire to, the Prototype class really doesn't translate, and it takes factory money to compete in GTLM, and once again, if you are a Chevy team, GM/Pratt & Miller don't share their stuff. There are two Corvettes in GTLM, and if GM has anything to say about it, that's all there will ever be. They made it VERY hard on the last guy who tried to field his own car. Sadly, it is no longer the days of Grand Am, where ANYBODY with cash could buy front line equipment and go race. IMSA is a very private little club, and it is difficult to break into because the factories control almost everything unless you want to run the useless P2 class.
