Hiya!

Don't let DEJR's minion's scare ya' off.

The only drivers it's usually cool to crucify are Waltrips/Bodines/Sauters...and if Busch wins the Cup, the may have to call in a S.W.A.T. team.

Go KB.

If you don't mind me asking, what COUNTY are you in? I'm in Cobb.

Houston. Warner Robins to be exact. I hate it. The base here that my hubby is stationed at has about 20,000 civilians. I have been looking for a job for about 6 months. All those civilians and military families here are too many for how many jobs are here. Not to mention the closings of two factories in the area.

Right now, you are only getting a job if you have a lot of experience. McDonald's even is able to hire only people with a couple years experience because it is that bad here.

Not to mention the fact that everything is closed by 9. Last movie shows at 9 on the weekends. Restaurants stop taking people at 9. Sometimes 10 in the summer on weekends.... it's sooooo boring. And since there is only one of everything, that means it's packed.

Very Interesting, cuz I live less than 2 miles from Dobbins and NAS Atlanta.
I'm also in the flight path for the major runway.

You are so lucky to live close to Atlanta.

It's about 90 minutes from me, so on a rare occasion (gas is getting too high), we head up there to eat and go shopping. One mall with 15 stores and 10 for teenage girls to look like trash doesn't cut it.

Macon isn't bad, and a lot closer. I HATE downtown Atlanta, the commute, just plain nasty! When I was working, it was just up the road off 75.

I love Atlanta, that's where we go when we need some excitement in our lives.

We are less than 2 hours from Atlanta, so we can go often. The shopping and food is what is so awesome there, something different.

Macon is about 20 minutes north of here, but I am not a clubber and there isn't much to do there if you aren't. The shopping is alright, mall is a pain to get into though.

I don't go to downtown Atlanta, but some of the burbs have some nice homestyle restaurants.

If you are a wrestling fan, or even if you're not, try Abdullah the Butcher's House of Ribs & Chinese Food, 2387 Fairburn Road S.W., Atlanta. 404-629-2332.
ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER was known for beating, cutting and staring down opponents during his almost five-decade career as one of the biggest big-time wrestlers. Now retired from the ring, he's cooking barbecue at his southwest Atlanta restaurant, Abdullah the Butcher's House of Ribs & Chinese Food.
Pretty good Ribs...

No clubber here either, excitement to us is shopping, eating, visiting museums, touring the homes downtown, finding places to take the boys .... normal family stuff.

BP ... thanks for that info ... hubby loves BBQ .... have to check that out.
