Hollywood sure has money to waste

I saw that John Carter movie only made 30 million and cost over 250 million dollars to make. If you worked for a company and you lost over 100 million dollars on a deal how long would you have a job there? I know these people like Disney have endless amounts of money but dang that's a massive loss.
