Well, we're finally here after 35 points paying races. Chase or no Chase the right man is atop the leaderboard going into the last race of the season. Me, I hope to see the team falter in some manner that can make it come down to the wire but I think Mr. Conservative will show up and we'll see a familiar script play out once again.

Wonder how much NASCAR media is going to orgasm over how JJ is the greatest man to step foot into their sport.

With the state that Nascar is in, I'm not so sure that cramming more Jimmie Johnson down people's throats is such a good idea.

Then the other 42 drivers need to step up their game, it's not NASCAR fault, it's not Johnson fault, he's simply the man who gotten the most points in this season and in The Chase.

Can't wait for Homestead.

I'm not blamng Johnson but do you think that his domination has helped or hurt Nascar?

To their credit, that #48 team will always find a way to win - no matter the format. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the media needs to understand is that there are other drivers beside the few they continually rave on about.

Not a whole lot to talk about here. The championship is over.

I blame the other drivers for Jimmie's dominance. They need to get off their collective asses and beat this guy. This includes my driver. If they want to be talked about, run up front. Git-r-done!
If it was that easy wouldn't you be doing it?

LOL. Anybody who has anything negative to say about tires isn't a Goodyear fan.

I'll be honest, I am kinda wondering why Goodyear seem to be having a problem getting the tires right for every race. The tires are either too hard and the tire strategy doesn't come into play at all, or they're too soft and drivers are having blow outs (mostly in their RF) while running around the track at 180mph.

I know that another tire war would be disastrous for NASCAR, but maybe in the off season, NASCAR can look at opening up a bidding war between Goodyear, Firestone and Hooiser for the 2014 season.

If JJ had some charisma it would help. Great driver, just boring.

Go Harvick.

Eh, the only driver I've seen that has any kind of personality is Clint Bowyer and he's an a**hole. All the other driver's interviews are boring as ****. The only time Harvick is interesting is when he's mad, other than that, he's like Johnson, boring in an Interview.

You want to see more personality from the drivers? Have the sponsors release the vices that they have on the driver's balls.

I believe Goodyear is signed up as the exclusive tire provider for the very long term.

You must have missed Kez's championship year. Admitted he was drunk on tv. What a character

Eh, I'll be honest. I don't give a rat's ass about a driver's personality. I mean sure the fighting and intentional wrecking are fun to watch once in awhile and that thing between Ty and Harvick at M-Ville was exciting to see in real time. However, what matters the most to me in a driver is whether or not he can race and whether or not he can win.

Yep. Denny and Carl are prime examples of not being prepared and handing a championship to JJ.

Don't forget Kenseth, him and his CC folded like laundry in Phoenix. I mean c'mon, when you're in the Championship hunt, you don't tell the driver "I got nothing for you." You and the driver need to come up with a plan! Do you think Chad ever told Johnson that he doesn't have anything for him? **** no, Chad always has something for Johnson!

True. Not as dramatic as Denny and Carl losing all talent and wrecking out of contention. Carl actually took he and Biffle out of the points lead that year.

Everyone gushing about Jimmie Johnson keeps forgetting one minor detail:

Chad.
