Homestead Pre Race Thread

It's amazing that in that in the past 7 years only Stewart and Keselowski have been able to beat Jimmie. Hopefully Harvick can get second in points this weekend.

JJ will score more than the 400 Brad did last year. Matt needs to win to surpass 400.

After 9 races, JJ has a 4.6 average finish, among his best ever.

I blame the other drivers for Jimmie's dominance. They need to get off their collective asses and beat this guy. This includes my driver. If they want to be talked about, run up front. Git-r-done!
How/what else can they do that they aren't already doing? can they drive the car any harder? just look at how hard the 20 team worked on sunday and had nothing for JJ.

I thought this was pretty cool.. I had to ..lol

·CLOSING IN ON A NEW RECORD: Keselowski and his Penske Racing teammate, Joey Logano, have combined for 20 top-five finishes in 2013. One more by either driver would tie them for the most combined top-five finishes in a season by the team, equaling a mark established in 2001. If both drivers finish in the top five at HMS, it would set a new Penske Racing record.

...not bad.

Harvick's helmet for this weekend.

Edwards, Bowyer, Harvick and Kenseth have all beat him as well.

The chase and the current points are what they are. All of the CC's, teams, fans and drivers know how the new system works and JJ has won five of the last seven seasons.

Under my points and chase format, I would have won the cup the last ten years. ;)

I was saying that all of those names listed finished ahead of Johnson in the points at one time or another over the past 7 years.

The #20 team? They choked this past weekend. The car didn't handle worth crap and confusion ruled the pits for them. That isn't what makes a championship team. You seldom see that sort of thing from the #48 team. They've got the whole package and perform like the champions that they are week in and week out.

Also the #48 team always seems to unload with the right setup. How often do you see them having to make a bunch of changes in practice? They are on point from the moment they hit the track in first practice and Chad keeps the car dialed in all weekend long.

The media will play up the fact that Jimmie as to finish 23rd or something , but that's only if Matt finishes 1st and leads the most laps . If Matt finishes 10th , Jimmie just has to show up.

And this from a man that don't want'em to win, just imagine if JJ was his driver. :D

They can start racing him dirty. Gang up on the 48 car and try to push JJ to the point he starts losing his cool behind the wheel. Don't let him run his race.

WWED? ;)

Yo mama is so ugly that people hang her picture in their cars so their radios don't get stolen
