Hornish back in a Cup ride?

The 9 isn't a top tier ride but Hornish isn't a top tier driver. Glad he finally realized he needs to quit "holding out" for nonexistent rides he doesn't deserve. I understand being confident and everything, but the guy needs a reality check. There are better stock car drivers than him who would take that ride in a heartbeat if they had the chance.

That would be perfect for Petty to do that after what he and Kyle have been saying. :headbang:

My vote is the big Swede girl.. DeSilvestro She can drive and it looks like she can kick some butt in a tussle.

Actually, she's Swiss. Her F1 deal is off now so she's probably free next year. I'd like to see her back in Indycar however.

It's Hornish, will be announced tomorrow.

They should've hired Josh Wise or Landon Cassill.
I think Cassill will get picked up by someone decent soon. He's overachieved with JD Motorsports and Hillman. I know Dale Jr.'s been pretty favorable towards him on Twitter.

Average teams hire average drivers. Just don't get it. I'd rather park the car for a year and develop somebody in Nationwide.

(Then again, I'm a Bucks fan, I'm used to tanking for future potential talent)

I wonder how good Simona would be with a high horsepower, no grip car.

She was a bad ass in Indy a few years back. Damn near won at St. Pete
She did very well when she started with a small Indycar team with no teammates. I'd like to see her try NASCAR since she recently lost her ride as a F1 test driver. But the open wheel drivers haven't done that well in NASCAR.

He will steal a win somewhere next year. Plate tracks or road courses most likely

Wow! Should make for an exciting '15 cup season with the 9 & 10 battling for a mid-twenties point position.
I can only imagine, Hornish will be spinning out at least ten times next year. Penske's setups will not be able to save him where he is going.
