So, anyone here a fan of Netflix's original series, House of Cards? Season three starts on 2/27/14, and I can't wait! You know that sooner or later the downfall of Frank Underwood will happen, and it'd be nothing short of awesomeness.

Awesome. A great word to describe this series. Finished the second season. All I can say is..... Wow! Can't wait for season #3.

Watch the original version.

Think its still on Netflix.

Yep, it's still on Netflix.

You can also buy the book that the BBC series and the Netflix series is based off of. :)

If you've seen both the series, the book is overkill. lol

Dont think much varies between the 3 combined.

I honestly like the USA better, mainly because I have no idea how the UK Government works. I'm sure I'd get more out of the BBC's version if I understand their political system better.

Robin Wright is my girl!

Wonder if this will be the final season? Hope not.

It depends on whether or not Season 3 will have Frank Underwood downfall in it. Although I'll be honest, I kind of hope he doesn't have a downfall and actually is able to carry out two terms as President. Sometimes, you just want the psychopath to win.

Also, this is the music from the Season 3 trailer.

The only show currently "on" currently that I watch apart from Game of Thrones. It's awesome.

I've been binge watching this, took me about a month to get through all the episodes but I'm all caught up. Great show, can't wait for 2/27.

A month? LOL

Took me like 3 days to get through the first season.

The second one was slower in my opinion so I took about a week or so on that one.

Guys, it is time. It is almost time. Time for some House of Mother ****** Cards! :D

I'm on episode 3 of Season 3. Can I just say, I really don't give a rats ass about Doug Stamper story in this season? More cutthroat politics, less human interest please.

Didn't read the last few posts. Starting my season 3 run watch NOW! Be back in like 2 days. lol

I'm up to Episode 9 now. I know I should be done by now, but I just cannot binge watch an entire season. My ADD kicks in after awhile and I have to go do something else.

Man, Francis is one evil man, but you cant help be on his side most of the time.

The wife is a snake!

On ep 8 so far.

Did not enjoy season 3 as much as the first two, but that was expected. The general "Frank always wins" flow of the first two seasons obviously couldn't be sustained.

I don't know why but I feel the same way. I shouldn't like this guy.

I'm @ S:3 Episode:11. Just these last three for me then I'll be in for the long wait. :(

That's the problem with having an antihero as the protagonist...it's like you have to root for the "villain" because that's whose side of the story you're getting. Same with Walter White in Breaking Bad.

Finished the season last night and here are my thoughts on it..

Enjoyed it as a whole but this season was the series weakest by a few points. Too much time spent with Doug Stamper and to be honest, I forgot all about that plot with the girl. Why did he needed to get her out of the way or kill her again? That's something that went over my head like a flying disc.

The last episode was very anti-climatic. There was no real surprises or shocking moments that left you wanting to know what happens next. The season finale felt like just a random episode.

We are apparently on the same schedule. I finished this yesterday as well.

I do feel completely different about the Doug Stamper plot line. He had a huge influence on how this season played out with the upcoming election basically playing both sides. I thought that was some pretty good stuff. The girl, Rachel Posner, from way back in the first episode of the first season was the prostitute that was with Peter Russo when he got pulled over for drunk driving which Frank had ordered to be covered up with a bribe. Later in the season, she was used again to bring down Russo when they needed him out of the picture. She's the link to all of those wrong doings as she knew of some of the involvement. I think if you look up the plot line for season #1 it'll bring back a lot of what you may have forgotten.

The last episode was anti-climatic as far as excitement goes but man, it really makes me wonder how Frank will recover from what transpired in the last minute of that episode. Overall I thought it was another great season of the show. I'm hooked and wanting more. When does the next season come out anyway?

You just did. Now it's coming back to me. She was that prostitute they found him with.

I still feel like they were beating a dead horse. It had been so long that at the point they are at, did she really need to die? Frank already thought she was dead and she didn't have any interest in looking for her 15 minutes. The oposite, actually. She wanted the hell out of there. So to me it was unnesesary screen time devoted to that part of a story that was pretty much a none issue.

I felt like the last episode skipped a few key moments like the announcement of Underwood winning Iowa and the reaction of Heather Dumbar.

For a minute I thought he had been re-elected as president. Took me a while to realize it was just a state win.

The 4th season hasn't been confirmed yet but its coming. Each season gets release sometime in february. So you're looking at a whole year for it basically.

Have you seen the british version of it? I am going to try it and see how faithfull they stay to the original. It'd be fun to see the similarity.

And hey, you get to find out what happens to the main characters.

I have just joined the "just finished season 3" list, thought it wasn't quite as good as the first two, but still very interesting.

I was actually very interested in the Doug Stamper-Rachel storyline, I was wondering what Doug would do to Rachel if he caught up with her. I got pretty annoyed with Claire though, she was "me, me, me" for pretty much the whole third season.

Now we wait until February 2016....

I've watched the first seven episodes of the series over the last couple of nights. I dig it. Kevin Spacey is as good as ever.

So, am I the only one who didn't give a rat's ass about the Doug/Rachel story line? I mean I thought it was going in an interesting direction when Doug joined Dumbar's campaign but, NOPE!

Honestly, I didn't like this season as much as I liked the previous two seasons.

If you read this thread you'll find others that agree with you on his story line. I disagree though. Not that it really matters anymore. ;)

Started watching the british version last night. I dont know how I feel about that one.

The pace is so much slower. This Francis breaks the fourth wall for such a long time you think you're watching a documentary.

I'm going to give it another episode.
