(peyton..what IS pozole?God knows, I hate to appear stupid.)
I don't think we have that in Alabama. We tend to ban things we can't pronounce. [/b][/quote]
 :XXROFL:

Wow, that brought a tear to my eye from laughing! LOL!

Pozole is the Mexican word for hominy.
However, it's also the name of a Mexican soup with hominy in it. Takes a good 3 hours to fix. Garlic, chili ancho(type of mild pepper), pork shoulder, and hominy.

Add shredded cabbage and chow down. You can also put in onion, a squeeze of lemon juice, or jalapeno.

The mother of a good friend came to my house 3 years ago and taught me how to make it.

When the weather is cold, it is the best. :)

Pronounced Po-so-lay

I'm on my way TRL !!!!!

Sounds wonderful !!!!!

Kelly, you ought to be ashamed but I forgive you. :p

Grits are the official food of Racing-Forums.com, didn't you know that?

Yeah ... cheese in grits are good too, bacon on the side though.

I think my cousin just got out of jail on pazole.
I thought he was at the reunion? Big guy, drove a truck?Slept with other cousin Sally?

Guess I'll just have to look it up myself, does it have meat in it? Might be why I don't know...

Yes, that was him. Only had one bucktooth, we used him as a can opener.

You can put meat in them.

Meat in grits? I think that's a sin. It's in the Bible.

Why thank you. :dual9mm:

I've even got links to Moon Pies and RC Colas...

Moon Pies sound better than Grits

Meat where ..... bacon, ham ... well ... that's the only 2 I would put in there.

But why ruin a bowl of grits with meat. ^_^

I'm a vegetarian Grit eater myself. Assuming grits arent actually some weird type of meat, I mean.
