How Many Days 'Til the Daytona 500?

That's a Chaperell, correct? I saw 3, that were entered in a 12 hours of Sebring, kicking the sh!t out of the Ford GT-40's until they all suffered and oil leak problem and had to retire from the race, this was in the 60's.
it's a 1970 Lola T70, Chevy powered, it was used in the movie LeMans that Steve McQueen wrote directed and starred in. a Penskie Lola T70 won the Daytona 24 in 1969. The car in the picture has a hell of a story.

Well I knew it was close, but, upon further looking at it, the Chaparral had a glass hatch back and it also was powered by a Chevy and Auto Tranny, but, the front of the car sure reminded me of that. It was the tranny's that failed at the 12 hours.
If Steve McQueen was in a movie, I have seen it many times. He was an actor that did his own stunts and driving, way cool dude. My all time Favorites he made is Tom Horn and Bullet.
