This is the conversation that went with the pic.

Was this your car before you had it Dennis?

Dennis Fluegel Looks like it could be, although you seem to know more of the history of the car than me. My buddy, Bob Hanke, bought it from Bill Hofensberger in '68 or '69 (I believe). I raced it in '70-'71. Sold it to Mark Curzon in '73. Maybe this is the guy who built it alongside the Feldner car you owned.

John J. Surges Hopfensperger built it alongside the Feldner car. I have photos of them being built together.

Dennis Fluegel I wonder where this guy fits in the puzzle. When Bob Hanke bought the car , it was red. & had "Wild Bill" lettered on the hood.

Taken in front of Rubik's Bar in beautiful downtown Powers, Michigan, my hometown. Date unknown. Must be some Milwaukee drivers invading the UP again. Powers is located 20 miles from Escanaba and Norway. On Saturday nights this parking lot was full of Escanaba drivers heading back home from Norway. Those were fun nights.
