I have never seen these cars race. My cement truck had dual front wheels like that but I am sure loaded it was quite a bit heavier.

I would imagine the double rear wheels have more to do with getting power to the track rather then control as in the Tyrell.Williams 6 wheeler. Never raced.
March Experimental.
Forgotten Ferrari 6 wheeler.
Racers have never seen an idea they were unwilling to copy.
It was sweet music. Top that off with the smell burning methanol, Pure magic. Those things had to be so loud with those straight pipes.
Never liked the sound of straight 6s. Now V-8s was a whole different story. It was sweet music. Top that off with the smell burning methanol, Pure magic.
+about 50 more.
Escanaba Is a small town of 15,000 people on the Lake Michigan shore line. 40 miles away was another small town named Norway. Both towns had 1/4 mile clay ovals. I lived in between them. I never realized how much our boys were involved with the Milwaukee bunch until we started these countdown threads. My mom and dad were race fans. We went to Escanaba almost every week and sometimes Norway. All in all it was a great place to grow up.I would have sworn that Escanaba was going to be in California. I had to look it up.
