I've been seeing some of these posts saying that it's either Kenseth's of Harvick's fault, but if it were just one person's fault, there wouldn't have been the fiasco there was. But on to the punishment. I somewhat agree with the people that are saying they should be docked points, but no suspension/probation unless it happens again. But that's just my opinion.

Yep.

Fingers are pointed at Kevin.

Unfortunately Kevin has firmly established a reputation for retaliation so rightly or wrongly he will be singled out.

Points and probation and one more incident and sit out a race.

I'm trying to get the accurate details myself. But, whatever transpired, it seems to be the most "exciting" this to happen this year.

Well, both Matt and Kevin have or are on probation. Kevin has had points taken
away before.
It is time to make these boys pay attention!!! Sit out one race!!!!!
Do it again and get points taken and sit out another race.

They will get the message. :cuckoo: :headbang

And if they don't get the message, they have a serious listening problem. ^_^

Agree with you dragonlady424

Dang........wish I hadn't missed yesterday's race!! :( I can't say.......I didn't see any of it!!! :(

I am new here and a Harvick fan. I don't want to stir the turd but it seems that most want heads to roll for this. Do the same people feel that way about other drivers when these things happen or is it a hatehappy thing?
:owquitit:

welcome to the forum, and I feel that way for any drivers. The WHOLE team works too hard for kids to play around wrecking cars, let alone possible injury. You should have been here for the Tony Stewart debate. As luck would have it I dislike Stewart and Harvik. What do ya do....

Thanks for the welcome BB. I guess I feel Harvick was provoked and Matt will get off the hook because of who he is.
Maybe NASCAR needs to let these guys go out behind the trailer and settle it....Now, I'd pay money to see that.

I think they will both get the same, someone had Harvik had got screwed out of points because matt pitted and Harvik was sent to the back and Matt was already there, but I have not really looked too hard at that yet....tooo busy, but the information sounded accurate.

Isn't he always?

29 is the only person that should be suspended out of them both. He cut kenseth off and after kenseth passsed him, spun him out when two of his teammates blew up. i think what kenseth did was completley justified.

Retaliation on the race track is not justified....ever.

if what kenseth did is not right, then harvick spinning him out on the caution is not right either.

I think most of us have come to that conclusion.

I don't recall Matt ever being on probation? If you're thinking of Bristol...the #42 punted Matt, then Matt punted the #42, all during the race. After the race, the #42 turned Matt around on the cool down lap as they were entering pit road. I don't think Matt was put on probation for that.

I BLAME KURT BUSH! :p
This is getting crazy....I sense some forum rage here :bigfight:

Agree with TRL, It take s 2 to tango, 25 points each, as far as money goes it means nothing to these guys.
I also agree put kurt Busch on probation. ( just kidding )
