Good luck, Lappy! You are using the same business plan my bride and I used when we started in 1964. By 1987, I was just over fifty years old and my bride and I decided we should keep one business, semi-retire and start doing the things we never did in our earlier years.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes before you start complaining about your employees, insurance, general expense and headaches of being self-employed.
I lived the Golden Rule, was always honest, and never tried to, "keep up with the Joneses." Things will work out and one day you can enjoy the rewards that come as a result of the aggravation of being self-employed.
I know you'll do just fine. Good luck!
