I miss Alain Prost

He was always my favorite racer growing up. Senna was more flashy, Schumacher was more gifted... but Prost... Prost was more cerebral and compensated for his shortcomings by being consistent and focused. He was kinda like the guy in school who always had to study for his good grades, where as others could just ace the tests without studying.

One of the greatest... and most definitely one of the most under-rated.

F1 and whatever open wheel racin was on TV was my TV connection except for Wide World of Sports.

And here I was thinking I'm the only Prost fan around, because many people I know hate him, but screw them I say...

Same for me...grew up watching him and deciding that he is my favourite driver to support. Funny thing, my racing is just like his...not always the fastest, but consistent and calculated, why else the name Professor...hehe.

Oh well...back to work.
