I must CONGRATULATE

I fully expect Kerry to eventually challenge for a win at the Cup level. Whether he can get it done coming off turn four on that day or not, I'll be rootin for him. Well, unless he's trying to get around the 71 for the win. :D

He may not be the most talented driver out there, but he is far from having none at all. He may only be one of the guys ya gotta beat to make the race, but that sure ain't all that bad a rap.

They are not all superstars.

I really appreciate your feelings on this subject, 71Fan. And I like the way you worded what you had to say! :)

It's nice to see Kerry have such a great run and how we are talking about him in the Cup series. Well next week is our chance, at Talladega we can all see how Kerry will do. Hopefully it will be good.

Well booja, it's just that I'm not one to go around dissing drivers as a general rule. I even like Bonzai Boris and Cue Ball Headed Fools.:)

I have paid close attention to Kerry in every BGN race this year, why...because he is the only Earnhardt that has raced this decade that seems genuinely grateful for the opportunities that he has been given. He is modest, mature and has spent his time learning and paying attention. One thing that I think TS1 is missing from this season is that as many times as Kerry has been "too agressive" and made a mistake he has also been the victim of someones else's mistakes. (usually Shane Hmiel's, but not every time). He shows way more patience than did his dad or his brother and I for one think that paid off yesterday and will continue to in the future. I hope so anyway!

I agree with you wholeheartedly. :)

Yup Kel, Kerry's biggest problem as a driver seems to me to be knowing when to get back in the gas. He's been a tic too soon more than a few times. He'll learn.

Would not surprise me to see him driving for (or at least in) DEI (cars) within a few years, but it won't be untill he has paid his dues and shows that he can run with the big dogs.

Kerry is bascially an old man in racing terms! He is a little past prime to keep up with young guns like Jimmy Johnson and Ryan Newman and all the rest of them!

His 2nd place finish yesterday was severely tainted with the black flag thing! You can't give these guys credit if they don't earn it!

He earned his 2nd place run, Nascar almost but didn't take it away. Deal with it, tonystewart1.

You must have been smoking wacky tobacco if thats what you think!

Take the dental floss out of your eyes the next time you watch a race!

One thing I learned with racing is that age doesn't really matter...you see the older guys winning and the younger guys winning. It's nice to see a sport like this because the other sport I like, unfortunately age does matter.
