He is a real wheelman but his mouth and what he spews forth sometimes makes me cringe.

Black hats as in villains? I think KB wants to be but the disdain for KB is fact he wins AND acts like a spoiled brat When he doesn’t and things don’t go his way. Hamlin is just douchy and obnoxious, especially when he acts like he throws tantrums when people do to him what’s done to others.

I don't see why people think Kyle acts like a spoiled brat. Dude is one of the best to ever do it and hates to lose, what's wrong with that? I don't think he ever says anything that isn't true either. He just doesn't act fake-nice for the camera as much as others.

I've always said Kyle Busch is worth the price of a ticket and the best in the biz. Probably my favorite driver to watch ply his craft other than Larson. Hamlin is Hamlin..... I dont much care for him but IMO hes one of the 4 best drivers in the sport and a threat to make the Championship 4 every year, a HOF career has happened before our eyes, I think if you cant see that or give it credit thats unfortunate.
 
I'm in the minority in that I actually like Hamlin. He might sound like a douche @ times but he backs it up with results. His 46 wins @ the highest level are no joke, that's Tony Stewart territory. Hamlin is probably the best driver to never win a championship, although he still has a few years left to get that elusive ring.

He called Brad a “retard” and tried to sucker punch Joey when he lost. If that’s not acting immature and like a spoiled brat I know what is. Can’t deny the talent but some mature self control is not in him. Hardly a villain though.

Oh and when he’s successful it’s because of him. When he isn’t it’s someone else.

Can’t deny Hamlin talent either. But he’s on the cusp of Harvick-like attempts to bully. Comical in that it usually backfires saying people are “hacks“ or he won’t see them again because they Have no talent then they go and get that title he can’t attain.

I personally dont care about him one way or the other but the guy makes dickhead decisions and makes unnecessary remarks.

They all say stuff on the radio that's worse than that, it's just that Kyle Busch actually sometimes speaks unfiltered in front of a camera while the rest shy away from that. Nothing he says is unique.

or he throws temper tantrums like when he left his car over in 3 at Bristol after the race and walked thru the tunnel to the bus and his team had to walk all the way around and push it back.

I remember as a cup driver he entered Xfinity races and bragged about how he was going to wreck Brad K then did it. It really looked good on him when Brad went on to win the championship a few seasons later and he did it for Penske in a dodge.

Hamlin is a great talent and a slam dunk to be a first ballot HoF inductee when the time comes.

Occasionally he says or does something stupid and it backfires on him. I don't think his driving gets enough respect simply because a lot people dont like him.

I think KFB's personality and reputation precedes his talent.

Kyle is one of the greats, easy top 10 all time, but I do not believe there was ever a point in his career when he was the dominant force in cup.

he's had similar seasons, but Harvick was neck and neck with him.

By dominant, I just mean a multi year stretch where he was the best across the board. His peak of 2015-2019 did include the most championships, but he just got the job done when it mattered. Harvick and Truex performed equally during that time span.
