Most of its fans don't even like Nascar so what did you expect?.....:D

IDK what is at work but for whatever reasons talking about Nascar with those that don't follow it can bring on all sorts of undesired things from eye rolls to open hostility. This is by no means scientific but a lot of people think Nascar is rigged. Arguing that if Nascar was rigged Jeff would have had 7 championships, Junior would have 75 wins and Danica Patrick would run up front does not sway opinion. They still look at Nascar as "people of Walmart" shtick which is unfair and untrue so Nascar has a lot of work to do in order to change perceptions.
 
If most of the great WWF stars were not gone they could have been incorporated into the Nascar broadcasts. I can see Rowdy Roddy Piper as the host with assistance from Mean Gene Okerlund and Bobby The Brain Heenan. The Bushwackers could man pit road with The Lovely Elizabeth and Sensational Queen Sherrie, Randy "The Macho Man" Savage could do play by play with the Hulkster and Paul Bearer doing commentary. Paul doesn't talk much so that would leave more time for the other 2. The possibilities are endless and would certainly help in ticking away the moments that make up a dull race.
