The stations would be stupid not the carry the 500 tonight as it would gain more ratings then the normal crap they run on Monday nights. If anything I could see NASCAR as doing this as a trial run to see if they could do Monday night races in the future.

i sure hope they don't plan on going up against mnf, they'd lose. daytona fine, i like it. during football season, no.

I'm liking this prime time thing. I'd like to see it become the norm for the 500. I hope the ratings back that up.
