I'M Curious, what happened to Brad and Joey Saturday night?

They were off the mark by a bunch.

I have not read anything but the 2 car was running at a snail's pace compared to most others. Penske has been very hit and miss this year and the 22 in particular has been way off.

Ok, but, what does sandbag karma mean? Serious question not trying to be a smart A. :)

Brad runs his mouth an awful lot and was accusing the Toy teams of laying back and not trying to win. He got his first dose of medicine when he ran poorly in the third stage at MIS and his second dose came at Bristol.

It's Bristol, baby, but not enough yellow flags for Keselowski. He got a cut tire on lap five when someone hit the wall and bounced into the 2 car. Instantly down four laps. So the strategy became... stay out when others pit, get the wave around, and hope for a quick caution. But if the caution doesn't happen pretty soon, you get lapped again because re-starting at the rear on old tires. The 2 had competitive speed on equal tires, and passed all the leaders under green after the lap five pitstop. Source: Team Penske.

IDK what the 22 deal is, they have looked consistently mediocre since the Richmond cucumber.

Logano has been so bad that you almost wonder when CC Todd Gordon's seat starts to become a little warm.

They are inflicted with Toyotacheatedourposfordsitis :( there is no known cure at this time

Just what Brad gets for claiming the Toyota's were sandbagging. It bit him in the ass and hard.

All ate up with the dumb*** Bradly is :lol2::lol2::lol2:

In laymans terms it means Brad is stupid

I didn't get to see the race either, prior commitments, thanks for the info

Joey's average finish pre-cucumber: 7.2
Joey's average finish post-cucumber: 21.9

Brad's average finish pre-cucumber: 9.2
Brad's average finish post-cucumber: 17.1
Brad leads all drivers in top 5's, and only Truex has more top 10's. He also has more DNF's than most, and most of those have come from being caught up in other guys' wrecks. Since that Richmond cucumber, Brad has seemed to lack the speed to dominate races, but the top 5's have kept on coming.

Yeah, I think Brad had some really bad finishes that may be skewing his average a bit.

Nothing wrong with the 2 car, just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Joey is another matter. Don't know what Nascar took from the Fords but they are all much slower.

All we need to do is get the Toyota teams to ask them if they were sandbagging...hold a news conference

I didn't miss Brad and Joey anyway ......... I tuned in to see history being made again :lol2:

I did enjoy watching the 48 struggle though

And the rationalized agenda comes forward!

On topic..

Penske must have been set for the season, the cucumber is likely tossing them an improv.

Brad has been decent..by the playoffs, he'll be fine.

They haven't been the same since Richmond. Not sure what NASCAR found, and took away, from them, but whatever it was was the key to their performance

That's some salty vinegar.

The worst year for Joey ever at Penske, and I do think his problems are more pronounced than Brads. Too far off speed wise to even think about winning.

I think Penske can still build good speed. Ryan Blaney is fast.
