It hurts, holy crap it hurts.
Oh, LS, I know it has to hurt. Has anything been done to find out why you have so many?
Rats. Are there any preventative measures that can be taken?I've got abnormally deep ear canals.

I had one so bad once in my right ear that it toasted my eardrum. The eardrum healed but with a little scar tissue so the hearing in that ear is compromised. Doc looked in there and said, “You have no eardrum.”
My ears are constantly infected. Several surgeries over the past 20 years for a benign growth called cholesteotoma has my inner ears looking like Swiss cheese. Not fun. I feel your pain, literally.
All that surfing and salt water can do a number on you.
Not really. The ENT told me there's nothing he can do.
But you still have the cymbal!
Both boys had the tubes put in, Logan had them done twice as they fell out. Their ear infections have all but ceased.
Yeah..... water will do it....... when I was around 36 years old...... We took the kids on a weekend trip.... stayed at a motel in Billings Montana.... I swam with them in the motel pool ....... later got a really bad case of vertigo......it lasted off and on for several years...... lost most of the hearing in might left ear....... now at 63..... being a farm equipment mechanic and being around loud machinery and air tools...... the hearing in my right ear is diminishing.....Lol, right as I started surfing as a 10 year old(give or take), is when the ear issues started, that put the kibosh on that.... but I'm still in the water and it definitely doesnt help.
