Breaking News: Jacques Villeneuve will run the Indy 500 for driving for Sam Schmidt http://www.motorsport.com/indycar/news/jacques-villeneuve-will-run-the-indy-500/
Don't know how in shape he is to drive open wheel again, but I'm definitely looking forward to this.Breaking News: Jacques Villeneuve will run the Indy 500 for driving for Sam Schmidt http://www.motorsport.com/indycar/news/jacques-villeneuve-will-run-the-indy-500/
Yeah, those probably are the big four. You have to give the top one to Indy, it's the oldest and most prestigious in my mind. Part of Monaco's appeal is the history and glamorous setting, I don't think the racing there has ever been that good, unlike the other three. Although I'm sure you could find people who say that the racing at Indy, LeMans and Daytona is boring. As far as single racing venues I'd say Indy, LeMans, Monico, and the Daytona 500 are the big ones (the Daytona 500 would probably only be on an American race fan list).
Jack Hawksworth to drive for Bryan Herta's team http://www.racer.com/index.php/indy...-hawksworth-lands-bryan-herta-autosport-drive
The driver signing comes as a surprise, since everyone considered it was either going to be Luca Filipi or JR Hildebrand. Hawksworth had 3 victories in the Indy Lights series last season, and had several impressive tests with different teams this off season.

Dreyer and Reindbold Racing (Car #1) – Stefan Wilson, James Jakes, Paul Tracy, John Andretti, and Sage Karam have all been rumored to be in discussions with this team
Dreyer and Reinbold Racing (Car #2) – Would only run a 2 nd car if Ganassi gives them money to put the team together.
