26 cars is a high in the seven-year history of the race.

Pagenaud starting 20th is brutal. A lot of the young guys are impressive so far.

Pitting early has mostly worked so far. I don’t think O’Ward was anywhere near Askew before and Newgarden was three seconds behind Harvey. Dixon picked up a bunch of ground too.

A Ferruci implosion moment take 50th.

Watching Indy cars at Indy but not on the oval is torture.

Speaking of torture, those air wrenches take a beating.

I think I could be on a IndyCar pit team - as the guy who squirts the water after refueling - I'm pretty good with a garden hose and have lots of experience ;)

Rossi stacked up half the field. Damn.

Terrible start to this season. With fewer races he’ll have to go on a killer run to have a shot at the title.

Rinus got the pass, but I was sweating all the way through. Daly gave Rinus a little extra space, he needs to keep that car clean and finish all of the laps.
