IndyCar: Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama

Odd interviews with Alonzo about his upcoming Indy run...he doesn't seem to be all excited...maybe he just has a low-key personality.
He might be suspicious of getting racing advise from the TV announcers. I suspect he is low key. He should talk to Montoya. Montoya was surprised by the amount of help he got from his NASCAR competitors, that was unheard of in F1. I think the drivers just want to make sure those racing close with them know how things work.

Michael Andretti is one of the best around on Indy.

He has RHR, Sato, M. Andretti, and Rossi for teammates.

Not to mention guys like Dixon, Kanaan, Montoya, Bell, Bourdais, and other veterans will be happy enough to help Fernando. He will be fine because guys are not afraid to give pointers.

Makes them more competitive and makes racing better for the fans. Makes it more fun for the drivers.

Gil de Ferran will be his "coach" as well.

That was probably the first interview he has ever done with that type of format . I bet he was dealing with a bit of culture shock as well. I thought it was interesting
he said he really does not talk to any other F1 drivers that much to get their
opinions about going to the Indy 500,just sees what they say from what he reads.
