I don’t think this is a great thing for the series...
Too far for the teams and the hardcore modified fans are out in the northeast.
I don’t really understand the benefit of running there. If they wanted a similar track, seems like Richmond would have been better...
Also, I guess this is replacing the K&N east and west combination race at Iowa that weekend.
Since ARCA already has a race at Iowa I guess they didn’t see a need to also have K&N.
I didn't see the need for K&N there anymore, but couldn't they have ran an ARCA Midwest Tour late model race or something in K&N's place? Though if it's a Modified / Xfinity weekend I might consider going, it's one of the few top 3 NASCAR series tracks within 16 hours lol.
A Modified Race at Iowa might be very entertaining if they can still get 20-22 cars or something to show up.
