Freaking snow already postponed the ice breaker at Lincoln. Cant wait to get up there a few times this summer! Kasey Kahne is hosting an event on Sept 27th, def gotta make it up to that one.

I was looking forward to finally going up there this year. I always chickened out thinking they'd cancel. Lincoln never cancels...until this year. Haven't heard anything about this weekend though

I'm staying in Florida until after Sebring, but isn't it still like 10 degrees everyday up there? I'm from Ohio, and talked to a family member and thats what they told me anyway. Don't know if its a great idea to be having races outside in 10 degree weather anyway, snow or not...

They do it every year. Well, until this year anyway. Hell, there were even snow flurries during hot laps last year

Interesting... This is a much more severe winter than usual though.

Depending on your location. :)

Maybe not in California lol, but even in the southern US its a lot worse than normal. I lived in SC for a couple of years, so i have a lot of friends there, and i talked to some of them and they are complaining about how horrible this years winter is. I lived there during a couple of extra mild winters. It's always perfect in Cali, west coast is the best coast. I want to move to Las Vegas someday, thats my favorite...

This is true, which is why they cancelled, I think. The week before last there was still two feet on the ground up there, and more snow was on the way. Hardy bunch in PA, but that just can't be overcome.

My cousin (whom is as close as a blood brother) was born in Chicago, lived in Cali for 20+ years and then moved to north Las Vegas would, given the choice, prefer to move back to SoCal.

Yeah we tried to go up twice last year and one got rained out on the way up. Needless to say it hardly rained so we were a little ticked off, but had a great time up there for the other race.

O its freezing up in these parts (MD/PA), but incase we got a random 60 degree day like we did last weekend it would have been fun to head up there. Read on their website they moved the race to the second weekend in March sooo will still be really cold I'd assume.

Picture from Lincoln last year. Cant remember the date, but we had the A&M-Bama game on during the tailgate. :salute:

Houses are cheap in Vegas, things aren't so cheap in Cali. I've spent a lot of time in California and Nevada. If the cost of living was the same in California, i'd probably give it a little edge over Vegas, better market for what I do, but i really love Vegas anyway, and its not that long of a car ride over to LA.

Unless you do it on a Sun afternoon.;)

Tomorrow, RACEDAY. The wait's almost over! :bounce::bounce: #RACEDAY #BackToRacing

Hope it is a good one Andy, I can hear the GPS cars running now.
But I just finished a 12 hour day and I start another one at 6am. At least 10 hours a day until next Saturday.

I would have enjoyed meeting you, saying hello, along with watching the Super LMs.
