Is Jr entitled to his lap back?

It seems like he just expected Rusty to move for him......expected it so much he decided he can just push the leader out of the way.

SPOILED BRAT!

A car that's a lap down and decides to do that to the leaders deserves some HARD wall time, and no one needs a good dose of concrete more than EARNHARDT JR.

Wallace has learned his lesson about speaking out against the chosen one.Wallace should have booted him regardless.

At least now Nascar has a new problem.Namely how to stop Busch before he eclipses Juniors number of wins!
LMAO!

no one hsould be put in the wall no matter who they are

I beg to differ.

Jr should be put into the wall. And put into it hard.

Yeah but try to tell Robby Gordon that ( no offense to the Robby fans )!

I don't understand why he tapped crusty, he knew NASCAR was going to , somehow, get him the caution he need to get his lap back, they have done so for him all year.

Two weeks ago when JJ spun out there was no caution, today the yellow was flying before smoke started off the tires.

Got that right Turbo! Hopefully someone gets fed up with it all and puts Jr where he belongs...wrapped around the inside retaining wall.

If anyone is going to get sick of this farce its going to be ryan newman.
He has almost died twice in the two "everyone else is restricted but Jr" racing series.
That would be funny if Newman wrecked out Jr hard and then in the interview told nascar to screw off and then quit.

Hurry up, that may be your last post! You could say what you wanted a little softer than that. Good luck.

Oh geez...just as I was getting comfy...is this another "Jr is sooooooooooooo awesome!!" places?

I do not see how its as bad as wishing someone dead.

I dont want him to die.

It sounds like it though. I dont like the Bodines but I dont make a big scene out of it.

You can make a scene out of it you want.

I guess i just don't see where you make the jump from wanting to see him crash to wanting to see him die.

I dont want to see him die...is that clear enough?

I want to see him flip end over end, violently for longer than 60 seconds....shredding the car to bits and getting a serious, career ending injury to his spinal cord. :)

You are just plain sick.
I feel sorry for you.
And with that I'm outta here, I no longer want to be a part of this.

You are being sarcastic, are you not? :(

Yes I am just kidding.
Ok good. You were really starting to freak me out there. :)

I'm no Jr fan, by any stretch of the imagination...but let's try to maintain some level of civility.

I don't want to see anybody injured, not even Tony Stewart. Now a series of DNF's of a mechanical nature might be reason to smile though. :p . Seriously, all I really want to see is NASCAR to quit butting in and helping Junior. I don't see that happening any time soon though. :(

If it had been someone else that fought and got a lap back and there wouldn't been a word saie. But it was JR. so that was different. Poor Poor Dale Jr. :D

your absolutly right ward22.
i hate jeff gordon but do i say stuff like "i hope jeffy hits the wall and his car explodes and jeffy gets 1st degree burns all over his body".
but i will not denie that i laugh & cheer when jeffy gets in a fender bender or blows his engine.

NASCAR and Lil'E are bringing all of this negativity onto themselves. In the pre-race where they ran the 30 second Hooray for Hollywood Lil'E was shown 5 times. There are other racers and all of them deserve face time. It is getting out of hand where everything centers around Lil'E and so when he gets a "call" it smacks of favortism. I could go for mechanical failures too, except the cameras would then be in the garage watching them try and fix the car rather than on the race. Does anyone doubt that? At all? :bleh:

You mean like they were showing Ryan newman in the garage fixing his own car.

If it was any other driver that was fighting that hard for getting a lap back it would be just good hard racing. He did have a pretty good car. I think it was a good point that Rusty should not have been too worried about Jr. Rusty was not racing for a position with jr. It would have been good to keep him off the lead lap, but he still had to pass 17 other cars in 30 laps or less. Almost the same thing as Robbie and Harvick at the road course a couple years ago.

Why do people try to defend Lil'E??
banghead.gif

Why has NASCAR become the Lil'E show?

Why are Lil'E topics after most races pointless?

Who knows how many of the drivers feel?

By fighting Junior so hard to keep him a lap down, which is good form on his part, Rusty cost himself the lead. It allowed Bobby and others to get to Rusty and past him.

Junior was doing what he had to to get his lap back.

I call it "racing".

I couldn't have said it any better, TRL. It was just racing. Rusty cost himself by trying to race Jr.

I recall many, many instances where someone like a Bodine was a lap down and people cussing him out on here saying that cars a lap down should not be racing the leaders.

Very true. But when the lap down car is as fast, or faster, than the leader, I would let him go rather than hurt my own position or performance.

I have a problem with cars that are many laps down and running less competitively holding up the leaders.

That's true about the car's performance, I guess part of me just wanted to see Jr stay a lap down. :nyanya:

There is also a difference between THE LEADER and the leaders.

I have a good friend at school that hasn't liked Nascar, but I finally got him to watch California. He told me when he saw me again that he would tell me who his favorite is, and he said ( On Monday ). He might of liked Dale Earnhardt Jr., but he was on tv constantly. They were talking to the crew members of Jr. when they had a problem, but I dont remember them talking to Ward's crew a few weeks back when they had a problem in the pits. He doesn't like Jr. ,from watching one race, and by the way he thinks he likes Elliott Sadler.

"Two weeks ago when JJ spun out there was no caution, today the yellow was flying before smoke started off the tires. "

Nuff said.

Anyone who cannot see the special treatment there is either blind or just a flat out liar.

Oh man i am so sick of this, it used to be fun to come here and post stuff. Now working 2 jobs i don't get on line too much, but .....this BS about Jr and Nascar is just getting old, give it a rest. Lets see where he is at the 3/4 mark of the season, personally i think he has had a good car most weeks, except for Rockingham where he really stunk the joint out. I'm not a huge fan of his, Bill Elliot and Sterling are my favorites, but i don't go around trashing other drivers to that extreme. I Just think that it gets a little out of hand sometimes. B)

no one dersivers there lap back unless they earn it by clean racing. and the leader giveing ppl laps back thats stupid.

they need to do it like drit. dubble file restart with lap cars in the back. thats the way it should be.
