I had to make a trip to Lowes today.

Walked in and HALLOWEEN slapped me in the face. Decorations everywhere!
Almost turned around and walked out, but I needed some AC filters.
Bet Christmas shows up next month.

I haven't seen any yet but I'll betcha that they'll be here soon.

I've been seeing Halloween candy places since just after the 4th of July.

Me too, I think we all agree it gets more ridiculous with each passing year.:idunno:

I walked into the mall a few days ago and the Spirit Halloween store was already opened. I didn't think much of it. I mean, Hobby Lobby has their Xmas decorations up in June. However, the next night there was a news story about whether the store is open too early. I figure the Halloween lovers are happy it's open already, so no harm done really.

I worked at Lowe's while I was in school. I unloaded trucks. Right about now they will start getting Christmas stuff on the trucks. I unloaded and put together so many Christmas trees back in the day

Craft stores, I can understand. It takes time if you're creating things.
But full size yard decorations in August for Halloween is just too much.

I'm one of those who doesn't want to see Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving.

Buddy managed a home, auto and garden store, one of 32 in a local chain . By now all the Christmas stuff is in the back room and in the packed warehouses.

According to the wife we've had Halloween merchandise in the stores for two or three weeks. Three month's early. That's ridiculous.
