It's time to end the 4 cars per team rule

Not sure it's the 4 car rule keeping Matt from racing. He could have always raced for Furniture Row, but he wants to be paid like it's 2007.
I don't think Furniture Row has a sponsor for the #77. Then again, I don't know if they were interested in lining one up. The plan was always for it to be a one-and-done. Maybe if a sponsor came knocking, they would have changed their mind; maybe not.

The more multi car teams the more the Wal Mart Big Box store effect.
If we had 6 five car teams, we would be reduced to the 6 owner templates for choosing and managing the drivers.

And racing is naturally very inbreed, big multi car teams would make the circle much tighter than it is now. They might even discreetly start handing fertility pills at family gatherings, to keep their benches stocked.

I want a lot of diverse teams, and diverse in this context is not meant to push minority owners, that would be a great thing. I just mean I want to see a broader approach. I want to see some real driver hate that is not governed by working for the same owner or alliance.
Some stupid hate **** would be a good thing, big multi car teams are corporate machines that want to kill that kind of fun.
And the kill would not even be a much of story. The tight asses would handle it in private meetings, with the be boring demands spelled out explicitly for all the team drivers.

The hell with teamwork on the track. I want every car to race against 39 cars that have absolutely no sympathy, or any teammates on track.
Screw the Co op petition.
