So okay, I've seen the latest Bond filem, Casino Royale and it wasn't nearly as good as what all the hype led me to believe it would be. Granted, Daniel Craig did a good job, but what the hell, it just wasn't James Bond to me. I know that there are plenty of people who will always say that Sean Connery is the real Bond, but while I like Sean, I also liked Roger Moore and he might have even made more films as Bond than Connery. But what has changed is the actual content of the movies. It's been said and even confirmed that those who make the movies feel that there's been too much emphasis on the sexual part and that will change. It did and there was a backlash of sorts and they sort of went back a bit, but still, it isn't the same. When the James Bond movies were considered "B" movies, they were fun and that was during the Sean Connery era. Roger Moore's tenure brought us the big time Bond movies and they continued in the same vein. But the 90's brought a big halt to that and we began to see a totally different James Bond.

It's a shame that PC has been brought into the Bond films, but such is life in the good old USA. Casinal Royale might be just what the doctor ordered, but the good old doctor was born after the first movie was made. What would Ian Fleming think?

Haven't seen the new Bond film. Roger Moore was good but my favorite is still Sean Connery.

Sean Connery and Roger Moore will always be James Bond.

Pierce Brosnan did an adequate job, but it just wasn't the same. *sigh*

The new Bond just doesn't interest me.
