How about her getting in there in that scrum doing her job?

Amazing work, even warned Brad that Jeff was coming behind him

Her interview after clearly professional.

She is always trying to talk and the noise of the cars drowns her out.......... what the hell does she say

Don't forget the guys and gals in the video truck that night, they had a tough job as well. I heard one lady broke a nail trying to switch camera views real fast.

I started this thread because I was impressed that she hung in there and did her job under tough conditions...

Maybe it's time to start a new catch all thread entitled 'The Incident'. All the Keselowski/Gordon garbage can be thrown in there. In the meantime I am going to go start the ESPN cameraman appreciation thread.

Can I start the Harvicking discussion? Please...

Hey @Mr. Gregory , is this the scene where the alien crawls out of her stomach?

What kind of pose is that?

Because there is absolutely nothing that Michael Waltrip does that deserves props.

LOL. Quit trolling me, man! Sheesh! ;)

Upon further review, it looks to me like she was about to grab onto that wall next to her. She looks fine from this angle, but perhaps she and I can sit down and discuss proper posing techniques over dinner. I'll run it by Danica and see what she thinks. Wouldn't want her to get jealous or anything.

In hindsight , starting the thread may have been where you went wrong . On the bright side , it took the spotlight off "you know who' for about thirty seconds .:)

They really need to rethink the fire suit wardrobe.:D
LOL. Yeah, I mainly posted that one for posterity, and because I like Morgan Freeman.

Too bad she's going to work for FOX.
Ehh, the way I see it, as long as she's still on my TV screen, it's all good.

For what it's worth, I don't mind FOX's coverage at all. Myers and Mikey annoy me sometimes, but I like the three guys in the booth, and I've developed a soft spot for Krista Voda, who is now off to NBCSN. She comes across as a bit of a geek like Bill Weber, but I actually like her for it. She seems like a nice lady. I'm also pretty disappointed that Dick Berggren finally retired. Good for him, and well deserved, but bad for me.

But anyway, back to appreciating Jamie. I've liked her since she won that Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race at Long Beach a few years ago. That showed me in some small way that she wasn't just another pretty face in the pits.

FOX tends to make every sports broadcast comical; I hope they utilize her well but I doubt it.

If I remember right, she beat a decent field that day. Don't remember most of the names but one of them was Mike Skinner.

I agree. Personally I think a leotard would allow her to move around better thru the pits. Along with the obvious need for heels to enhance her visual aerial capabilities.

I have to disagree. the only pit disturbances if this were the uniform would be a distracted ricky getting hit with danica's shoe!

That's not a problem.

ESPN pit reporter Jamie Little was doing her job on Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. Following the AAA Texas 500, she was in place to interview third-place finisher Brad Keselowski when she was surrounded by "a huge sea of testosterone."

"You could see my arms are out, and I'm steadying myself," Little said. "And if a punch is thrown, you might get it back. I'm just there with my microphone to do my job."

Little saw the wave coming in the form of four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon, and she warned Keselowski.

"I'm standing by the car like we always do, waiting for the interview," Little said. "Brad gets out, and Brad's looking at me. And I saw Jeff get out, and I said, 'Brad, watch your back. Jeff's coming.'

"Jeff comes over and starts yelling at Brad, and then all of the sudden… Kevin Harvick pushes, and then everybody jumps in. So I'm in the middle of it. Well, at that point, I'm not backing down. That is my spot. I was there, and I have a job to do."

Her job has been reporting motorsports for 14 years, and she'll continue in that role next year with the NASCAR on FOX team. For two more weekends, she and the ESPN team will broadcast the Eliminator Round finale at Phoenix International Raceway (Sunday, 3 p.m. ET, ESPN) and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway (Nov. 16, 3 p.m. ET, ESPN).

"I've never seen intensity like this," Little said. "I've never interviewed a driver with blood coming off of his face. That is what this Chase format has done, and I think it's what the fans want.

"That just shows you the importance of fighting for the win and going for it at all costs, even if it means everybody else is mad at you like Brad. Brad is there to win a race. He's there to go for the championship."

Jamies determination and fortitude, to stand her ground and complete her interviews is outstanding. This puts her over the top in my opinion.
Glad she didn't take a hit in the melee, but figure if she had, the prep would have worn a camera on his head.

I just wish I could hear what she says, those damned loud cars just drown her out
