Jo Siffert/Steve McQueen Porsche 917 "Pulled" from Auction!!

maybe seller decided to enjoy this car a little longer...it is a beauty
 
Bobby, I got to see the "LAST" Version of the 917 Race at "Riverside" Calif, in the late 70's... The 917/30...It was simply "UNREAL" how FAST that car could get thru Riverside's notorious "S's" !! :eek:
 
Maybe they got an offer they couldn't refuse...KWIM?
 
Dunno??? But. they were "GUESSTIMATING" a Price of between $13-$16 MILLION for the car PRIOR to the Auction!! :eek::eek:
