How is Carl Edwards a Hall of Famer? Even by lax NASCAR standards, he shouldn't have been elected based on his self-imposed shortened career and lack of a Cup championship.

Carl had the gift of gab, and the back flip didn't hurt for his popularity. Sponsors loved him and so did Nascar, but like you said don't look at the record.
