Johali's Rate the Cup race --- Atlanta

THey gotta shorten these races. Five hour race but all you need to do is tune in at the end and see who hasn't crashed yet and who crashes in the last couple laps.
Being at the track each caution was almost painful. The safety trucks and sweepers/blowers were out every time and often just sat still on the track. NASCAR didn't help much with how long they normally waited to open the pits. I assume sometimes it was because of the TV coverage. It would be interesting to see how much time was actually spent under caution.

"HOW BOUT THAT MELON MAN"

I love my DVR, saw the race in 2 hours, piece of cake.

Interesting concept, but, this one track like this, is enough, IMHO. 1.5's need off throttle time to make them interesting.

These new tires SUCK.

Pretty good "IROC RACE" though.

One of the highlights of the race - KDB and Hamlin in the garage and done!!!!!:pbjtime:

As a superspeedway race I liked it better than the Daytona 500 so I'll give it an 8, but I really think the intermediate package could have been even better on this track.

Also this race has always been an hour too long, please chop off 100 miles.

Atlanta Motor Speedway... the silicone implants of stock car racing.
:bleh:
