Johali's Rate the Race --- The 600

I was prepared to give a bonus point for the HMS guys actually all finishing well, but yeah...that fell apart, to no surprise
 
Would have been a 4. That race was pure awful.

Finally give it a 3 after that last gimmie yellow. Byron spun on the apron and was able to drive off on his own. No reason to drop a yellow other than to create final restart drama.
 
6.5 I was entertained, but can’t let go of my frustration for the end of race activities
 
4... and I'm not saying that because Gustafson is a dunce

This package is a complete joke.. Nobody can pass the leader under a green flag run due to clean air.. NASCAR managed to basically make the biggest problem with the racing, the aero sensitivity even worse.

Not to mention, this package destroyed any aspect of driver skill... It's basically mash the gas and turn left..You don't need to lift because the cars are gimped.. I want to see cars sliding

8.5 for me. I wanted to see Chase get him one. There was plenty of hard racing in the closing laps of the enduro 600 the winner earned it.

I went to bed assuming it was gonna run tomorrow cause I gotta get up early. The first 50 laps were a total snoozefest and I'm not particular bothered I missed the rest. This package sucks balls at this track.
 
6 Any time you have a spoiler that tall you need to have a rethink. It’s embarrassing that they took away HP AND use that thing.
 
All I know is that I'm sure Rick Hendrick is going to have a Come to Jesus meeting this morning with his team.
 
I'm going with 6. Once things settled down after the restarts, there wasn't much action.

First 340 laps were abysmal, then you had an organic battle for lead between Brad and Chase. Then the inevitable caution happens. Everyone bags on this package, and rightfully so. When will we wake up and see one of the big problems that leads to manufactured drama finishes is the GWC rule?

‘Manufactured drama’ kind of sums it up.
 
Well...at least NASCAR is back....racing is not, at least at this venue. Too much aero dependence...never did care for the "stage" racing, but having four? Really?

Do not know how to rate it...have to start at 5...just because NASCAR is back....but watching four parades with a hiccup at the end might raise it to a 6.

Thank goodness a Hendrick car did not win...

I'm going to give the race an 8. It kept me pretty excited and there were a lot of ups and downs towards the end. I will give Bruton Smith and NASCAR a 10 for having a lot of extra track dryers on hand which shortened the rain delay and allowed them to get the race in.
 
Race itself 7, wasn't necessarily a bad race, it just didn't do anything for me
Nascar did a great job honoring our fallen soilders, and getting the track dried quickly
