A classic race, near perfection.

Dear Nascar,
Give us a Cup Series rules set that's capable of occasionally producing a race such as this on fast intermediate tracks for the top series. A righteous merit-based contest of driving skill. Do not be afraid of natural contests of skill.

'We The Fans' know that not every race can produce such a thriller... and that's OK. We will gladly accept that many races are merely average, and a few are downright clunkers, in order to savor the few classic battles that occur naturally and organically. 'We The Fans' know that trying to impose Game 7 Moments into every dang race via the rulebook inevitably gives a lowest-common-denominator result that leaves us unsatisfied.
