Last stage made it for me. 9
8.5, I agree this one was good but the spring was terrible other than the last 30 laps.9.5
Richmond has had a couple of great races this year.
I don't know if that fixes it to be honest unless we go to like 950 HP. Bigger brakes, tires & a sequential gearbox is just going to race differently6.5, and that's being generous.
Idk, I just think these new cars need more power at the short tracks. And generally speaking, I haven't been a big fan of the racing at Richmond for the past 15 or so years, so I can't just blame the car.
The first half of the race was a snoozer. Yeah, there was more action toward the end, but this place just doesn't feel like a short track.
I agree this one was better, more action on track throughout the race. But overall, both had a lot of what I’d like to see in a Cup race - technical track with multiple lines available, high tire degradation, green flag pit cycles, and an element of legitimate strategy. Lots of battles where guys were able to fight side-by-side for multiple laps. It’s evolved from being the single-lane sealant racing from years back but it’s still great imo.8.5, I agree this one was good but the spring was terrible other than the last 30 laps.
