@Nitro Dude Was there any discussion on the condition of the right lane? FYI, you got about 15 seconds of TV time for the live show.

Hope John's okay and it's only his shoulder...that was a very hard lick, looked just like his daughter's.

Wait, did John Force wreck/blow up AGAIN?!!

What that doesn't show is Mark Rebilas (photographer) not realizing the throttle had hung, and John's car was making a B line for him under throttle behind a gate.

It sort of looked like it the way the car seemed to do a wheelstand immediately after contact. Glad he’s well enough to transport himself. What a weird, cursed year for the guy. Scary.

In the far away replay, you can hear the throttle apply 4 times before electromotion activated. Can also see the left bank exhaust flames come and go.

Johns pit was right across the isle from our pit and when they brought the car back on the roll back it was burnt pretty bad. I didn't hear any news about his shoulder. I will find out his condition when I get to Virginia.

What's electromotion? Just curious.
@Nitro Dude might have a better explanation, but basically it's an RF node near the finish line that activates an emergency shutdown sequence on the car when it crosses the finish line. It shuts both fuel valves and grounds the magnetos to completely shut down the engine, and deploys both chutes.
