Damn, he looked pretty good in the documentary that aired on Christmas. RIP as a kid you knew ot was a big deal when you got Madden and Summeral in the booth
That was my thought too. Then I saw an article stating he was in good health and his passing wasn't expected by anyone. Very coincidental circumstances

RIP. He was a great coach as well as being great in the booth and with the chalk talk. A big fun loving personality without the obvious ego.

He won the Super Bowl with Stabler (who should have been in the HoF before he passed) .
He also had a 13-1 regular season team one year and he most likely had the best win percentage of all coaches during tenure. It was almost .700 or better every season.

All that's missing is a special pre-order Turducken edition that includes a John Madden teleprompter drawing game mode, sponsored by Tinactin.

But in all seriousness, it would be awesome if EA included a Madden and Summerall commentary pack with every future game. The technology exists to use their voices for literally any word and phrase imaginable
