Sad situation to lose not just one but two sons and can't imagine the pain the family must feel. There can be no greater pain than losing a child and to lose two at the same time has got to be crushing. Hopefully their faith and support from others will ease their pain.

I read this first thing this morning and couldn't grasp what had happened. Then I thought of the family and what a horrible thing this is. The poor sister. How can the wedding even go on?

But stuff like this is the reason I have never wanted to be a drinker, and part of me is afraid that I just might have liked it to much. I still remember a high school friends funeral. There was another time when a guy at work lost his son, some drunk women ran over him in the middle of the day and killed him.

He was too inconvenienced to wait for a taxi or rideshare, the weekend in jail is also an inconvenience. I'm anxious to see his reaction to sentencing for two manslaughter convictions.

This guy is probably almost as much a jackass sober as he is when drunk and shouldn’t see the light of day again for many years, if ever. IMO, the nature of the accident - getting pissed off at slower cars and trying to pass on the shoulder - speaks to his drunkenness exacerbating a preexisting road rage.

Yeah, when I read the description of what happened, I was just like "yep, that's NJ drivers for you." A lot of folks here are just always in a rush for whatever reason and will make really stupid decisions like this drunk driver made, inebriated or not. Doesn't matter what day of the week or what time of day it is.

Just so unnecessary, man. These two guys should still be here, and they're not.
