Still way to early but the project path has it heading right towards So. New England.
Trees haven't started dropping leaves yet so a tree full of wet leaves from a heavy tropical storm rain combined with high winds = trees topple.
Nothing on the magnitude of Harvey and Irma so I shouldn't complain. But.....

But, a Category 1 Hurricane in the Northeast is as destructive as a Category 5 in Florida.

Hurricane Sandy was only a Category 1.
 
Showing Jose as a couple MPH's away from being a Cat 1, nothing to ignore, I would be acting as if.
 
''Upper level steering winds'' will direct Jose to stay well out to sea,,,or so they say.
 
Water in that area is in the 60's, that'll kill it in short order.
