Journalistic Malpractice

I cannot stand Nancy Grace but this is the first national news coverage of the disappearance of Alexis Murphy. Other networks continue to remain occupied with the white girl who was found four days ago.

Nancy Grace has this person who chimes in on her show named Susan Moss. She's even more annoying and obnoxious than Nancy Grace.

I'm not sure what's going on in this Hannah girls head. She's already back online(assuming it actually is her) talking about getting her nails done and her celebrity crushes. She just survived a nightmare and it seems to have zero effect on her.

That chick is so bat****.

Not that I watched often before, but I've made sure to completely avoid Nancy Grace's program ever since she milked the Caylee Anthony investigation for what felt like an eternity.

I haven't watched "amazing" grace since her OJ trial days. As for Hannah, I think there's more to be told about her abduction and kidnapping. Of course we'll only get one side now.

BREAKING NEWS: Obama family gets new dog.

Al-Jazeera America launches tomorrow - and not a moment too soon. It's desperately needed.

In the latest installment of Journalistic Malpractice, we look at the awesome job the media did on the DC shooting.

MSNBC's Alex Wagner asked Pete Williams for his opinion on how President Obama should move forward on gun control after ranting about lax gun laws (lax being some of the most restrictive in the nation). Williams dismissed her entirely, sayin that should be left to the political unit and got back to the story at hand.

Several news organizations had to retract a report where they misidentified the gunman.

And cable news, with the exception of Al Jazeera, ignored the Syrian war, flooding in Colorado and looming government shutdown.

I sure am glad I get AJAM because I knew the other networks would produce a **** show.

The media are still showing an AR-15 and Shotgun picture and saying a Shotgun, as andy says, douchebags.

Another shooting and another terrible "reporting" job from the national media. Unwatchable.

It's sad that I stood up and applauded when Pete Williams answered a speculative question by saying "I don't know".

So, I'm flipping through the channels that are covering the vote to end the government shutdown and lift the debt limit. It's all screaming pundits. FOX is screaming about how bad Democrats are, MSNBC screaming about how bad Republicans are, CNN having people from both sides screaming on. Then I turn on Al Jazeera America News and it's straight-forward coverage of what's going on, what's next, no screaming, no yelling, just direct reporting.

Hope is restored.
