Understandable, the Earnhardts have a long and successful relationship with Chevrolet. I know Sr. drove a Ford eons ago, but seeing an Earnhardt in anything other than a Chevy would be downright bizarre.

I actually believe that Joe Gibbs probably offered Junior a ride back in 2007 when he left DEI and the reason he didn't go with him was because Joe was moving to Toyota. Junior being a huge Washington Redskins fan is also a big Joe Gibbs fan.

I actually believe that Joe Gibbs probably offered Junior a ride back in 2007 when he left DEI and the reason he didn't go with him was because Joe was moving to Toyota. Junior being a huge Washington Redskins fan is also a big Joe Gibbs fan.

Don't know about all that, but that is the reason Stewart left Gibbs. He had factory ties with Chevrolet because of his sprint car teams.
