Jr Schedules News Conference

It is trivia but it directly concerns the topic at hand.
I think many will find the answer surprising...
 
I just couldn't keep my peeps hanging.
So for all those saying DE will roll over in his grave if Lil'E drives for Hendrick how does this affect your opinion?
 
It could be Lil'E will be more than a team mate to Jeff. I for one would find it absolutely hilarious if Jeff were the car owner.
 
As long as Hendricks is the team owner it doesn't matter. Jr will be with a winning organization. I think that too many people understimate Jr's talent. I still am amazed, Gordon, Jr, Johnson, and Casey.........WOW.

Dale Sr in a Busch car
Oops didn't read all the previous posts, Sr was good buddies with Jeffy on and off the track. I believe they had some kind of business together, not sure exactly what it was , but i thought it had to do with merchandising.
 
Looks like Ky Busch can now sleep in during those early meetings.
 
So Lil'E compares racing against his dad as similar to racing against Jeff. Someone he wants to outrace for the feeling he gets. Gawd, this is getting sticky.
If all this love continues I'll have to be taken out back and shot...
 
It was obvious, to me, from the news conference that Hendricks and Jr have a pretty good relationship and this should be a good fit for Jr. Jr indicated that he would like to have the #8 on his car at HMS. They also stated that Kyle is talking with DEI about driving for them.
 
Nascar's gonna be wetting themselves next year having Jr and Gordon as teammates.

And think about this. No more arguements about better cars, better engines ... it's all equal after this. Now, you're gonna see once and for all, who's the better driver.

Don't forget the TEAM! The crew chief has quite a bit to do with winning.
It is not all CAR and it is not all DRIVER.

Tony Eury Jr.is under contract at DEI through the 2008 season. Although he's indicated he'd like to leave with Junior, Eury said last week (May after Darlington) that his future was uncertain. "I would like to stay with Dale Jr., but I want to do whatever is best for Tony Jr. and leave all my options open," he said.
 
Let's give the relationship a chance to work. It might be the chemistry is there, then again it might not be.

But let's not sink the ship before it even leaves dry dock.

I loved the story about the contract Junior signed on a napkin when he was 15. And Rick saying he was worried about Junior out roaming around with Schrader. LOL
