Happy July 4th, officially! Personally, I’m ready for it to be over. Can’t get much sleep when I have to wake up at 6am, with fireworks exploding well past midnight. Also, the cat is terrified of them.
Happy 4th of July! Around here, the fireworks started last Friday night --- not too big, or too loud. The big show is tonight.
The big houses on the river behind me will probably save theirs for the weekend. Some times their shows rattle my windows. I think they complete with each other to see who can be the biggest and loudest. Some, I think, are also using tannerite.

I'm not sure how this happened, but my hometown (Hilliard, OH) managed to book Big & Rich for their annual "Freedom Fest" before the fireworks. I'm a huge fan, and it was free, so of course I was there....
