Just In Case

I play golf occasionally and I have been to a couple tourneys and watched the pros. It's amazing to watch what they can do with a club. Never in my wildest dreams could I match that!

(BTW, Andy, there are no invocations before golf matches either.)

Golf is a very challenging sport. One that is never mastered.

But if there is a race - or even an NBA game on TV, golf will be playing second fiddle...

I watched Tiger play at Torrey Pines a few years ago and it was incredible to see how good he and the other pros were in their striking and accuracy. I stood about 30 yards down from the tee box pm a 600+ hole and was amazed at their power. I could literally hear the ball go past me.

If you stood in that location when I drove the ball, you definately remember hearing it........if you ducked quick enough.

I hit one off the toe of my driver the other day that was so bad it went into the fairway 2 holes over. I didn't even go over to get it. I just hit another of the tee. Ripped it 250 yards straight down the fairway, right into the creek. FML

lol I hope your friends were there to share the moment.

There was a story about a guy at work, they say the ball he hit landed in the open window of a car driving down the local highway.

I did not witness could be fiction.
