Kat has passed

For those of you who are regulars or have been here for some time, I received word today through a group that we belonged to that Kat2220 has passed away. We didn't receive much information, but I know she had been ill for some time.Today would have been her birthday. What a glorious birthday she will have, walking on streets of gold!
 
Unfortunately, this is correct.

I just got off the phone with Mike. She passed yesterday, about 2 hours after they removed the respirator.

Her children were there with her when she went.
 
My thoughts are with her and her family...god bless them.
 
I'm so sad to here that I'm sorry for everyones loss, my preys are with her family and her Nascar family here. May God watch over her in her journey to heaven, and peace be with her.
 
My condolence goes to her family. She will be sorely missed by her dear ones. May she now rest eternaly in peace. :(
 
So very sorry to hear this, but it seems that it was inevitable. My she rest in peace. I'll sure miss her.

I know you're upstairs now at heaven's racetrack watching Dale Earnhardt, Benny Parsons, Alan Kulwicki, Davey Allison, Neil Bonnett and Lee Petty put on one hell of a race! :beerbang:

Kat always, always, stood up for me and Lord knows I needed it many a time. I always appreciated her backing in the Nascar Trivia topic. Whenever there was a controversy ( seems like the person doesn't post in Trivia or the forum anymore) she would always tell me it was my decision to make. Thanks kat.

I will miss her more than I can say. RIP kat.

I am glad to hear her kids were with her, she was so very proud of them. Happy Birthday Kat, may your celebration be in a higher place. Prayers to all that are effected by her passing.
 
I first signed up here for the sole purpose of making some disparaging remarks about a certain driver.

Kat was the one who suggested that I consider using proper etiquette on the forums and welcomed me.

I just found out about Kat's passing. It breaks my heart. It's been a long time since I've been to this board. I couldn't even remember my sign on name. For those of you that remember Gollum, I'm his sister. Gollum and Kat were great friends. Kat, when you see Freddie running down the streets of gold just tell him I love him and miss him dearly. I will miss you too. Knowing you was a pleasure. RIP MY FRIEND.:(
 
I actually feel bad for posting so late. I just never visited this forum, and I go for periods where I'll only check-in, not post, and it's typically in the NASCAR forum only.

I can only say that I'll add Kat's family to my prayers, and I'm terribly sorry for their loss.
