A whole lot of people owe her a lot of apologies right now.

She had like the 5th worst best lap. I think she caught some lucky breaks with cautions falling at the right time. She was running top five at that late portion of the race, but it definitely wasn’t due to speed. She gets credit for a 17th place finish though, regardless of how it happened, so I’m sure she’ll take it.
 
What is that teams usual finish position?

It’s called running a smart race. She was on the lead lap most of the race in a car that usually isn’t. Plus we’re talking about a Cup Series rookie.

She’s getting better with seat time. And is taking care of her equipment.
